Welcome to Under the Painted Sky

Based on the book The Moccasin Speaks by Arlene Jauken, this feature film tells the story of the John and Lydia German family  who traveled west and were attacked in September 1874 on the western plains of Kansas. What followed was a search for the girl captives that involved the military and the struggles of the Southern Cheyenne. 

Our team is made up of talented and dedicated filmmakers who are passionate about storytelling. From development to post-production, we work closely together to bring our projects to life.
